Kevin Wilson served as the HMA GEARS Website Project Assistant with the Huron Manufacturing Association from October 2021 to August 2022. 

Although an alumnus of OCAD University in the Fine Art, Writing & Animation departments, Kevin’s 30-year work history since then spans Southern Ontario with industrial engraving, laser marking and business-to-business supplier sales. 

As a direct result of the 2020 pandemic Web Design & Development became a second career-focus for Kevin; merging & utilizing skills he already had while acquiring new ones. He assisted a number of small businesses & entrepreneurs with their websites before joining the HMA GEARS Team as Website Project Assistant for their ToolBOX Resource Project. 

 Kevin says, “The experience working along with the HMA & fellow GEARS Team Members has been educational, valuable & fulfilling. Finding this opportunity in conjunction with the OJCP (Ontario Job Creation Partnership) program helped me gain meaningful real-world technical experience for the next phase of my career.”  In addition to Web Design, Kevin continues with his video editing projects of archival 8mm family home movies as well as new digital shorts on the ever-popular topics of fun, travel & education.
