Our programming, with its experienced, professional instructors, safe learning environment and industry standard facilities, gives residents in Perth and Huron County  access to quality in-demand training and industry access to the skilled workers they need to maintain or grow their business.

The Board accomplishes its mandate by working collaboratively with business, workforce and community organizations to plan and initiate projects and programs that address the specific needs of workforce development in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties.

We offer several free programs and services to assist local employers in meeting their hiring and training needs.

EMC offers a broad range of hands-on programs and services helping manufacturers to lower costs, access greater opportunities to compete for business and improve efficiencies in dealing with the day-to-day complexities of running a manufacturing operation.

The Huron Manufacturing Association understands the difficulties manufacturers are facing with attracting and retaining employees. Through funding from Huron County SLED – Supporting Local Economic Development, and the Ontario Job Creation Partnership the HMA launched HMA GEARS – General Employee Attraction & Retention Strategy to support manufacturers in Huron County.
