Michelle Field served as the HMA GEARS Events Project Assistant with the Huron Manufacturing Association until August 2022.
Michelle was raised most of her childhood life on a 300-acre working farm in Alberta. For the past 20+ years she has resided and worked in Huron County while raising two daughters. Her educational background is in social work, and advocacy but her love of organization and planning has followed her forever and has always carried over into her work. For many years Michelle has been involved solely with event planning and fundraising for both Residential Hospice’s in Huron and Perth County which has allowed her to grow new ideas and network with some of the County’s most noted community leaders and stakeholders. By harnessing her passion, experience, and natural abilities to connect easily with others Michelle understands people’s visions and brings meaningful events to fruition with ease.
During her down time Michelle enjoys most anything to do with music, travel, exploring the outdoors especially if it involves the lake, gardening and yes, you guessed it, dreaming up new ideas for fundraising initiatives.
Michelle was excited to be part of this inaugural program of HMA GEARS and her contributions to successful in-person and online events has been greatly appreciated.
Although Michelle has moved on from her role as GEARS Events Project Assistant, the HMA Team will handle any event inquiries. Please contact us at info@huronmanufacturing.ca
