Calling on all Manufacturers and Associates!!
The Huron Manufacturing Association is once again promoting Bridges to Manufacturing. Due to the province’s ongoing funding formulas, our local secondary schools do not have the costs of consumables or raw materials available to the respective tech department budgets. This shortfall continues to make the situation difficult for the instructors to provide the programming and hands-on experience to improve the student’s skills and keep them encouraged and inspired to pursue a future in trades or manufacturing.
This opportunity may provide means to liquidate /recycle your scrap or surplus items or materials that would otherwise go to waste.
Please contact us at info@huronmanufacturing.ca to connect you to the school of your choice;
- FE Madill Secondary School, Wingham
- Goderich District Collegiate Institute
- Central Huron Secondary School
- South Huron District Secondary School
- St Anne’s Catholic Secondary School
Arrangements can be made for the pickup or drop off of your valuable contributions. Once the connection has been made, the HMA will keep in contact with the teacher and school for updates and photos regarding how your surplus materials have made a difference for Huron County youth!
If you have previously provided your surplus items to a school for this sort of incentive, please connect with the HMA so that we can share your photos, and stories, and celebrate your support of Huron County youth in MANUFACTURING!
Thank you in advance for your continued support.
