Susan Jared Bennett – Facilitator HMA – 2019 to 2023

Susan joined the HMA as Facilitator to support the Board of Directors in the delivery of the HMA mandate and to build current and new programs to support manufacturers in Huron County.

During her career, Susan’s background includes Employment Services, instructing Adult Learners, Hospitality, and Retail Management in Canada and England.  Susan enjoys creating the plan for a new business – as a Certified Online Business Manager working with clients from her home office. Specializing in supporting businesses, professionals, and associations with Project Management, Administration, Client Contact and scheduling, Facilitating Events, and social media.  She enjoys working remotely after many years with The Centres for Employment and Learning and the Avon Maitland District School Board, supporting clients, employers, and students and providing computer instruction and resume and interview workshops.

Susan is pleased with the programs and projects the HMA has delivered to its’ membership recently including the School Bus Tours, Virtual School Bus Tour Videos, Scholarships, and the EAR Program.  Most recently securing funding and building HMA GEARS to support manufacturers with employee attraction and retention.  The HMA GEARS project and Team have been an enjoyable addition to her time supporting Manufacturing in Huron County.

Susan has lived in England, and Canada and is now on the beautiful island of Nevis, sister island to St Kitts.
