Jason Oud – HMA Director

January 2023 to present

Jason, his family members and his family’s companies have been a supporter of the HMA for many years and this past January 2023 has decided to take on the role as Board Director.

Jason is a partner at Vanastra Packaging and Seaforth Elevators & Expediting, that operates a multilocation custom toll processing and packaging operation, with rail transloading and manufacturing capabilities of both Agricultural and Industrial Goods.

As a first generation Canadian whose parents were post WWII immigrants of Dutch heritage, he grew up on the farm learning from his parents and gaining experience and background in agricultural, sales, business and management.
Jason has been a board member and contributors to many organizations.

Husband of Vanessa, proud step father of James and Lexi, Jason enjoys travelling, theatre and movies, spending time with quality people, loves being out on the lake with his boat and drive one of his classic cars for an afternoon cruise.

Jason states, “I would like to give back to the manufacturing community. I have benefited professionally and personally through membership and being a supporter. I would like to help immigrants settle into the area like people did for my late parents when they arrived. I would also like to continue working to improve aesthetics and the business climate in the area.”
